Nimbin, also known as the “Alternative capital of Australia” is located on the foothills of the famous Border Ranges. It is situated at the eastern tip of an extinct volcano in northern New South Wales. Located at a distance of approximately 30 km north of Lismore, 70 km west of Byron Bay and 43 from Kyogle, this enchanted location can better be described as the “Eden of Australia”, with its inviting subtropical climate, greenery all around, the mountains and the panoramic waterfalls.

The climb up to the peak is truly breathtaking with the 8 km long track with its thick vegetation providing the perfect backdrop for a refreshing trek. The Nightcap National Park is another place worth a visit.
