NEWTON SOFTWARE, pioneers in civil engineering and architectural software, has announced its expansion plans. The company, spearheaded by Neelima Nevagi, today announced the launch of its new software products, namely auto scan, auto steel and PC architect 2D and site manager.
Newton Software, with its offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, has done over 2000 installations all over India and specializes in solving technical and extremely complicated problems in software development. Now that the construction industry has moved into computerisation for drafting and presentations for the clients, Newton has regularly updated and molded its software with the change in technology.
Currently, Newton has staff strength of 80 and is planning to recruit 100 more shortly and is also planning to develop additional verticals in other core engineering areas. This software helps control the cost of construction tremendously and has revolutionised the way in which the project estimation and actual working is done. Constant upgradations from time to time and continuous feedback from an extensive clients base from across India has resulted in these state-of-the-art packages.
Newton has added major utilities for large infrastructure projects. Newton has recently launched web based project monitoring software called gesiteh. This software helps control purchase orders, stock at site and site control from the head office. This helps the builder in monitoring major tasks from the head office.
