There are many poker freerolls online today that have a constant influx of players many are often full incessantly. With the promise of something for nothing, albeit a small something, and they do require enough patience to sit through a long involved tournament, that may be hours long, they are the first place many online poker players seek out. With the deep competition, and the significant opportunity available, a freeroll offers great promise for all online poker players.
Is it possible to win a poker freeroll consistently?
Absolutely! The first step is to adopt a strategy of survival. Stay in the game no matter what is needed to do so. Once you push all of your chips, and lose them, you’re busted. You cannot re-buy into a freeroll. One entry for anyone who wants it, so don’t let it go to waste. Aim for busting out after the bubble. The pay out is often not huge, and the time invested is often long, but play with that goal in mind, and you won’t walk away empty handed.
Remember that with freerolls as with any other tournament, those who are busted early often bluff quick, play aggressively and haphazardly. It is also not uncommon for the early outs to push all in, as part of a bluff. Don’t make their mistake. Play the game at your pace, and use the all in calls only when you have the best possible cards. The only other time is if you are holding a fairly strong hand, say pocket AQ suited with the rest of a royal flush in the community cards, and you have a larger stack than the person who calls, this will prevent you from being knocked out.
As a Texas Hold’em freeroll fan, the goal will be to earn chips, as expected. The chips however need to be accrued while you are taking out those who might fall into the ‘fish’ category. Play aggressively, but not haphazardly. If you are holding a pocket pair, and the flop makes it 4 of a kind, don’t fold just because some one raises, however if your hand is a pocket 5 3 suited, the flop is a 8 5 3 mixed suit, and no one is playing the pot aggressively, don’t try to bluff either, chances are that some one will call you on it, and the pot will be gone.
A sure fire way to make it deep into a freeroll and generate money, is to be prepared a long game of play. The anticipated freeroll time length is roughly 4 hours. That is a difficult length of time to remain focused and able to play the game.
